Weaving Hand Towels on a Rigid Heddle Loom
•Posted on February 20 2023

Do you ever start a new hobby on a semi-whim and become completely infatuated?
I bought a rigid heddle loom last year (Ashford, 24") to attempt to more quickly use up some deadstock yarn and for whatever else occurred to me. And I fell HARD for this thing. I can't wait to show you more of what I've been working on, but trust me this is not going away. I guess I'm a weaver now?
I made a video about the hand towels I wove! I gave these to my cousin Lauren. I made them with 8/4 cotton that I picked up at Gwen Erin Natural Fibers. No pattern, I just played with plaid.
Check out the video on YouTube! Sorry about the vertical video by the way, I didn't think any of this would make it past my Instagram stories!
